Cup of Warmth, Coat of Love

Coats of Love, Cups of Hot Chocolate is a community outreach initiative created to provide warmth, comfort, and support to children and families during the colder months. Through this program, A Hand to Hold distributes free winter coats and offers cups of hot chocolate as a symbol of care, connection, and community.

More than just a coat drive, this initiative is about showing families that they are seen, valued, and supported. Each interaction is rooted in dignity, compassion, and genuine human connection. Families are welcomed into a warm, safe space where resources, encouragement, and kindness are freely shared.

This program reflects A Hand to Hold’s mission to uplift youth and strengthen families by meeting immediate needs while fostering hope and belonging. By addressing a basic but critical necessity, Coats of Love, Cups of Hot Chocolate helps ensure children can stay warm, healthy, and confident as they navigate school and daily life.

Together, we are spreading warmth one coat, one cup, and one act of love at a time.
